Schedule (2026)

Silent Campers are welcome to arrive Friday evening to socialize and set up tents. Staff are not available to support with setting up tents, due to our Friday evening staff meeting. All campers are asked to stay in the camping field, but can leave if needed. No dinner will be provided.

Silent Camp will officially start on Saturday morning with registration/check in about 8-9 am.

Times and events are subject to change depending on how things go throughout the weekend.

Friday July 31, 2026

Evening
  • 6:00 to 9:00 – Campers arrive and set up tents
  • 6:00 to 10:00 – Games/ table games (camp field building)
  • 10 pm – Lights Off and Quiet Time in Camp Field

Saturday August 1, 2026

Morning
  • 7:00 to 9:00 am – Breakfast
  • 8:00 to 9:00 – Campers arrive, set up tents, and check in
  • 9:00 to 9:45  – Welcome, introductions, and countdown to voice off (lodge)
  • 9:45 to 10:45  – Icebreakers (behind lodge)
  • 11:00 to 12:00 – Activities (Picnic area)
    • Ball and scissors
    • People bingo
    • Table games
  • 11:00 to 12:00 – Quilling (art house)
  • 12:00 to 1:00 pm – Lunch (lodge)
Afternoon
  • 12:00 to 4:00 – Waterfront open (tentative)
  • 1:00 to 2:00 – Chainmaile bracelets (art house)
  • 2:45 to 4:00 – Activities
    • Water games (waterfront)
    • DeafBlind immersion activity (meet on lodge deck)
    • Handshape game (picnic area)
  • 2:45 to 4:45 – DeafBlind culture presentation, activities, and immersion walk
  • 4:30 to 5:00 – Mirror game (behind lodge)
  • 5:00 – Group pictures (beach)
Evening
  • 5:30 to 6:30 pm – Dinner (served under lodge deck and outdoor picnic tables)
  • 6:30 to 9:30 –Fire and s’mores
  • 6:30 to 7:30 – Continuing quilling and chainmail projects (art house)
  • 7:30 to 9:00 – Protactile/DeafBlind games and stories (inside lodge and/or on deck)
  • 9:00 to 10:00 – Quiet games/ table games (camp field building)
  • 10 pm – Lights Off and Quiet Time in Camp Field

Sunday August 2, 2026

Morning
  • 6:30 to 8:00 am – Breakfast (lodge)
  • 7:15 to 8:00 – Self-Guided Silent Group Yoga (lodge deck – bring yoga mat!)
  • 8:00 to 9:00 – Activities (location TBD)
    • Animal game
    • Flyswatter game
  • 9:00 – Firing squad (under deck)
  • 9:30 to 11:00 – Low ropes (meet at camp field building)
  • 10:15 to 10:45 – STEM communication games (basketball court)
  • 11:00 to 11:30 – ASL Telephone (picnic area)
  • 11:30 to 12:00 – Bingo (picnic area)
  • 12:00 to 1:00 pm – Lunch (under deck)
Afternoon
